Vanilla cake




INGREDIENTS


  • 1 Cup butter

  • 2 Cups granulated sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla essence

  • 4 eggs

  • 1 Cup milk

  • 2 1/2 Cups flour

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 2 1/2 tsp baking powder


HOW TO


  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 degrees celsius .

  2. In a bowl, sift flour, baking powder and salt into a bowl and whisk then set aside.

  3. In a separate bowl cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy (about 8 minutes).

  4. Add vanilla essence ti butter mixture and mix well.

  5. Add eggs 2 at a time and mix well until all eggs are added and well combined.

  6. Add flour mixture to butter mixture alternating with milk, mix well until well combined and smooth. Don't ever mix

  7. Pour batter into 2 8" round pans (about 2 1/2 cups in each pan)

  8. Bake for approximately 30 minutes
