Easy Pizza Bread

Pizza bread is the best after school snack for kids and a great lazy day lunch idea for adults. You can use any toppings of your choice in this 5 minute treat.



INGREDIENTS


  • 4-8 Slices bread of your choice

  • 1 Cup pizza sauce (I used mayonnaise)

  • 1-2 Cups cheddar or Mozzarella cheese

  • 3-6 Sliced viennas

  • 1 Cup chopped green bell pepper

  • 1 Onion halved and thinly sliced

  • 1 Diced tomato

  • 1 tsp Dried parsley

OTHER PIZZA TOPPING IDEAS

  • Pepperoni / Salami

  • Ham

  • Sautéed mushrooms

  • Pitted olives

  • Diced pineapple

HOW TO:


  1. Pre-heat oven to 200 degrees Celsius

  2. Lay slices of bread on a baking tray (you can choose to toast your bread first)

  3. Top bread with pizza sauce, scatter over some grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese and top with toppings of your choice. Sprinkle over some dried parsley and scatter more cheese on top and place in the oven.

  4. Bake until cheese has melted then remove from the oven and serve.
